The Colorado shortlist Hot Springs

Good soaks, smaller budgets

Free primitive springs and places with listed starting prices of $25 or less. Check the full adult rate before choosing.

16 places to exploreSee the map

A smaller admission price can leave more room for the rest of a Colorado trip. This collection includes places with a listed starting price of $25 or less, plus primitive springs explicitly marked free in the initial dataset. Overnight lodging rates and Juniper’s unconfirmed public access are excluded.

The lowest listed figure may be a child, youth, senior, or weekday price. Read each place’s price note to see what it covers and confirm the current adult rate. Timed sessions, rental items, and separate areas can also add to the total.

Free primitive pools call for a different kind of preparation. Roads, trails, river levels, legal access, and permits can matter more than admission. A missing price does not mean a place is free.

A starting point for your next trip. Rates and access reflect the supplied dataset. Check each guide’s notes and confirm directly before visiting.
